CUSCO / INCA TRAIL / MACHU PICCHU ADD-ONS

Machu Picchu - Cusco Peru, Skyline Adventure School

COME DISCOVER THE MAGICAL INCA EMPIRE...

The enchanted city of Cusco and its mountainous surroundings are richer in history and legend than perhaps any other destination so easily accessed today.  Once the center of the Inca Empire and home to its chiefs and nobles, Cusco was constructed masterfully of stone and adorned with precious metals of sacred context.  Overtaken by the Spanish in the 1500’s and ravaged by an earthquake in 1650, the city was rebuilt in Spanish style atop the Inca structures which remained, and as such today boasts an unique blend of architecture, religion, culture, and spirituality for visitors to explore and enjoy as they discover this magical corner of Peru.

Gateway to the Sacred Valley, Inca Trail, Machu Picchu, the Manu Biosphere Reserve and many other fascinating destinations, Cusco is a must-visit city for anyone traveling in Peru. Let Skyline Adventures help you plan and organize your trip there, as an add-on to a climbing or trekking adventure in the Cordillera Blanca/Huayhuash or all by itself if your time is too short for both.
